-Stress tester has a wide range of applications. This instrument can detect glass and plastic accessories from a horizontal or vertical angle, and is mostly used for quality control. -There is enough space for measuring various products. During the measurement process, the measurement is mainly carried out by holding the measured object in hand and observing it under polarized light.
Standard configuration - includes a light source, an analyzer equipped with a quarter wave disk and another polarizer equipped with a quarter wave disk. -A full wave disk has been built into the stress meter.
-The stress tester should be placed vertically when used. There are a pair of rubber foot pads on the fuselage for easy operation from horizontal or vertical directions.

Operating Instructions
The stress of glass and plastic products has birefringent properties. In other words, the stress of this type of product can divide each light ray of the polarized lamp into different component units, and these units in turn produce optical interference phenomena, that is, ripple patterns.
Under white light, this pattern is composed of colored ripples. The colored pattern is produced by stress.
Strictly speaking, two main stresses can be observed from the pattern differences of the tested samples.
- By observing the pattern and color, we can measure the stress of the glass products before/after annealing, and then measure the working condition of the annealing equipment. Qualification standards are generally set by the manufacturer.
The detection of plastic abrasive tools is more complicated. Although the detection pattern is also caused by stress, it is irregular. A similar situation occurs with glass products, which is called stress-stretching. For example, a qualified grinding tool will have a large amount of stress released by tension.
The role of full wave disk or color wave disk:
When testing glass samples, if a full wave disk is not used, usually only black or gray shadow patterns can be seen. The full wave disk increases or decreases the full wavelength of a phase difference, thereby forming a colorful pattern, which is easier to reason and explain.
